TOP CITY CENTRE VENUES ARE LATEST TO BECOME CCE MEMBERS
Conference Centres of Excellence, the UK’s leading consortium of specialist conference venues, has enhanced its city centre presence with two significant new members, Maple House in Birmingham and Broadway House in London.
Maple House is in Corporation Street, one of Birmingham’s main thoroughfares.
It has 17 training, conference and meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 160 delegates. Rooms are equipped with the latest technology and have air-conditioning and natural daylight. Last year it was acquired by the etc venues group as its first location outside London. Customer feedback through its membership of BDRC, the national independent market research company, has seen Maple House being ranked in the top ten national venues, and the top two in its region, since joining BDRC in October 2008.
Broadway House is an impressive Edwardian building situated in the heart of London’s Westminster. Recently having undergone a comprehensive refurbishment, it has a total of 9 conference and syndicate rooms with capacities from 10 delegates to a maximum of 110 in its Council Chamber suite. Facilities include the latest computer-controlled audio visual systems with integrated PowerPoint, DVD and video-conferencing options. Broadway House is part of EEF Venues, a group of five UK venues.
