NEW FULLY INTEGRATED CCE BROCHURE FOR 2010

Conference Centres of Excellence, the UK’s leading group of specialist conference and training venues, has replaced its conventional brochure with a shortened, more practical publication. The new brochure will integrate with expanded information on the consortium’s website to provide event organisers with a modern, convenient and comprehensive source of information for about the group and its 38 members – all of them among the UK's top specialist training and conference centres.

As the group has grown over its 18 year life, its hard copy brochure has become increasingly substantial and therefore less immediately user-friendly. Its 2008-09 edition was a bulky 40 pages in an unusual size between A4 and A5. “ While no-one could say that our previous brochures have lacked information, they had become quite heavy, not particularly portable, and possibly rather confusing,” said Anthony Lishman, the consortium's Executive Director: “We wanted to balance the continuing need for hard copy information with the benefits of current technology.”

The brochure has therefore been transformed into a much more practical A5 sized, 10-page ‘concertina’ format which focuses on all the advantages that the services Conference Centres of Excellence services and its venues offer. It includes a pocket which carries a 6-page ‘meeting planner’ containing at-a-glance pictures and headline information about each member, including the number of meeting rooms and bedrooms (where appropriate), location and key services.

Full details of the group’s free Hotline venue-finding service and each of its member venues can then be accessed on the consortium’s website, www.cceonline.co.uk. The website has been progressively expanded over the past year to include even more information about members, including portfolios of pictures, latest news and special offers.
“We can now offer our customers an information service that is right at their fingertips in the most convenient way,” added Anthony Lishman: “ It’s a combination of hard copy and web-based information that we are confident will encourage people to contact our Hotline support team.”
