More new members for Conference Centres Excellence

 

Four more of the country’s top specialist conference and meetings venues have joined the Conference Centres of Excellence consortium, extending organisers’ choice still more widely both geographically and in terms of venue style. The consortium now has 38 of the country’s most successful venues in membership.

The new members are Nottingham Trent University, the Leadership Trust, Burn Hall and Longhirst Hall.

Nottingham Trent University, which has a new, state-of-the-art venue called the Nottingham Conference Centre, has become a member. The venue is a dedicated, year-round facility, providing exceptional natural daylight, air conditioning, free wi-fi access, and state of the art AV facilities. It has nine comfort-cooled conference rooms with fully supported audio visual packages and capacities ranging from 12 to 350 delegates.

The Leadership Trust, based in Ross-on-Wye, has rejoined the consortium. Set in its own grounds in the tranquil Wye valley, The Trust has 80 bedrooms and six conference and syndicate rooms, including a purpose built split-level Board Room with formal and informal seating in its Michael Aiken Centre. Its David Gilbert Smith Centre provides individual break-out facilities.

Burn Hall, near York is one of the premier conference centres in North Yorkshire, with has eight fully equipped dedicated conference rooms and 94 ensuite bedrooms. It recently received the AIM accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association.

Longhirst Hall in Morpeth is a leading conference and events venue with 22 fully equipped function and meeting rooms accommodating up to 270 theatre style and 180 banqueting. It has extensive leisure facilities and grounds which are ideal for team building and development activities.
