Members of the Conference Centres of Excellence consortium have underlined the all-round strength of the dedicated meetings provision concept by winning a wide range of recent awards.
The Cotswold Conference Centre near Broadway clinched the top award in the Business Tourism category of the Regional Excellence in England Awards 2004, presented by the Heart of England Tourist Board.
The Robinson Centre at Wyboston in Northamptonshire has achieved the equivalent award for the East of England region, given by the East of England Tourist Board.
In the Godiva Awards made by tourism authorities in Coventry and Warwickshire, Woodland Grange Training & Conference Centre in Leamington Spa won the "Best Conference Venue" title, and Warwick Conferences , which includes the Arden , Radcliffe and Scarman venues, secured the "Best Customer Service" accolade.
The Sundial Group , which comprises Woodside Conference Centre, Bailbrook House, Barnett Hill and Highgate House, was the East Midlands regional winner of the National Training Awards 2004 for its internal management skills training programme.
Aston Business School Management Development Centre in Birmingham won the "Birmingham Venue of the
Year 2004" title in the Business Achievements Awards organised by Media Today Ltd.
Wyboston Lakes Training and Conference Centre in Bedfordshire secured a Business Achievement Award for Excellence from The National Venue Show's "Today" magazine.
CCE venues will also provide five of the seven finalists in the "Training Venue of the Year" World of Learning Awards in November, sponsored by Learn Direct. They are Ashorne Hill, The Hatton Centre, Highgate House, The Moller Centre and The Robinson Centre.
