Already with more members than ever before, Conference Centres of Excellence has now accepted a further leading venue into the group - the Uplands Conference Centre near High Wycombe.
CCE is the country's leading group of specialist conference and meetings venues, with many of the UK's best-known and most respected dedicated names working together to promote the advantages of focused conference and events support. Before acceptance into membership, venues have to meet the meetings industry's most stringent criteria in terms of facilities and customer service.
The Uplands Conference Centre brings the number of CCE member venues to 38, the highest level in the group's 21 year history. The Centre comprises a classical mansion house and a series of purpose built facilities in an 18 acre estate near High Wycombe. It has 76 bedrooms and nine meeting rooms.
It is the latest in a remarkable surge in CCE membership - the fourth new member to be accepted in the last three months, following Devonport House in Greenwich, HTS Lydiard Park in Wiltshire, and the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre in Cambridge.
All CCE venues are required to meet the group's own independently audited quality standards in terms of conference and meetings facilities, accommodation and customer care. They are the most demanding standards within the conference industry -- on average, only one out of every four venues that apply for membership meets the required standards.

CCE provides a free focused venue-finding service for corporate clients and agencies, providing single-source guidance on facilities, availability and price for each member venue, and arranging visits.
