Conference Centres of Excellence, the UK's leading marketing consortium of specialist conference venues, has appointed Anthony Lishman as Executive Director. It is a new, full time position designed to help the consortium grow through a process of raising its sector profile and achieving a progressive increase in membership.
Three more prominent venues have joined Conference Centres of Excellence, the UK's leading consortium of specialist conference and meetings providers. They are the RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre in Oxfordshire; Savoy Place in central London; and Austin Court in Birmingham.
Leigh Morris, Sous Chef at Wyboston Lakes' Waterfront Conference Centre, has won the 2008 Conference Centres of Excellence/IACC Chefs' Challenge. In doing so, he's fulfilled a promise he made last year that he'd come back and win the overall title!
